Early Project Alpha

  • Runescape inspired with on chain stakes

  • First game mode available is degen arena where you stake crypto/nft in duels

  • Earn essence points for their upcoming airdrop

  This one is very interesting, but only risk what you can as it is a bit degenerate. A lot of people are quite excited about this one. My friends at Web3 Gaming Frontier wrote an excellent post about it here. You do need a code to play. They’ve done $1M in stakes, 4237 duels to date.
  

• Collective Anvil [784 followers]

  • $2.86M raise

  • Action-adventure and cooperative strategy game - Holdara

  • NPC roles are fulfilled by players - Holdarans can be bought, sold or even hired to perform in game tasks

  • Land, legendary items and HOLSH (currency) coming as well

  I did a ton of digging on this one. If you look up the founders Gavin Rummery you can see for some reason the LinkedIn for Blockborn also being the same logo as Collective Anvil. I then followed that into Blockborn which was founded by the same people. You can see that they raised $2.86M. You can also find out that both BITKRAFT and Delphi have Blockborn listed on their portfolios. The website also redirects to Collective Anvil’s site. However, what is SUPER interesting is that on Delphi portfolio the link for Blockborn is the site for Holdara.

•  Eternal Paradox [472 followers]

  • 4X/Turn based RPG

  • Mercenaries will mint on November 23

  Gala has a lot of games this one had a second playtest in June. Looks like they’re going to be releasing this quite soon. Mercenaries aren’t needed but they retain their stats even through resets, allowing you get a head start each time.

• Dark Machine [375 followers]

  • Will be on Immutable

  • Creative producer - Goro Taniguchi - Code Geass, One Piece Film

  • Built by Meta-X Studio who is also building Jewel Knights and Project 3

  • Mech themed team shooter using Unreal Engine 5

  
  Early access comes in 2024, they are currently at YGG W3 2023. It looks really cool and Japan is really taking a step up into the space right now. Excited for this one

Gaming News

• Avalon releases trailer

  Trailer was also posted on IGN and there was some negative comments due to people finding out about Web3 even though it wasn’t presented. Seems to be happening to a lot of games that go into Steam as well.

• IMX Passport to be used for Gods Unchained starting December

  Will be good to see more IMX games start to use the passport and hopefully make things easier in the ecosystem to get people onboarded easier. The first step is to showcase it can do this with their own ecosystem games.

• Paradise Tycoon releases more info

  Releasing more information on what is beyond Paradise Tycoon. Introducing Kart Racing, MOBA and arcade!

• Army of Fortune and Cradles to integrate with Arbitrum

  Arbitrum is starting to see a lot more games in their ecosystem this is a soid choice by them.
