Early Project Alpha

  • Overtrip [5260 followers]

    • Battle royale game

    • Powered by Game Starter and Surgence

    • Backed by Shima Capital

    • Free mint, low supply

This one could be another project that does pretty well. Follows the same patterns - low supply, free mint and VC backed. No gameplay has been shown just yet.

  • Polyverse [4515 followers]

    • Web3 gaming project

    • Not much public information at this time

    • Lady BBrainz is helping out with marketing for this project

Not much public information about this yet, however, I can say that the team has been building out their product for quite some time. I had a chance to speak with them a few months ago.

  • Gomble Games [4112 followers]

    • Rumby Party has launched globally on Android and iOS

    • Has been part of many IRL event activations

    • Was originally going to have an NFT earlier, but has changed plans - still will have some integrations later on

This one could be a fun one, think party games like Mario Party. The team has switched focus to their game first and has decided to put more thought into blockchain integrations. They’ve done a ton of activations including alongside Pudgy Penguins at Korea Blockchain Week.

  • Reebok Impact [3883 followers]

    • Powered by Reebok and Futureverse

    • Coming in 2024

    • On-chain digital warables x AI technology

Sounds like a pretty cool collaboration between the two. Futureverse raised $54M in July looking to establish a metaverse. Reebok definitely wants to try to leave a mark, rather than just making their own NFT collection.

Gaming News

  • Pudgy World

Pudgy Penguins continues to show their massive expansion and great use of IP. Although gaming may not be their main goal, they definitely are continuing to expand their presence.

  • Gods Unchained taken off Epic Games Store

Everyone is being overly cautious and they should be the world of crypto is full of unknowns. I think that overall this won’t have too much of an impacts. We also don’t have all the information at this time. It may be annoying at first, but once we are able to get more conversations going this will be better for everyone.

  • Mocaverse raises an additional $11.88M

Massive news, Mocaverse is continuing to grow and with additional funding this doesn’t seem to be stopping any time. They have recently released Moca ID and have had some partnerships. With how their ecosystem is built, they will continue to have a lot of influence.

  • Pixel Race Club added to Xterio games

A more casual based game, will be interesting to see how this affects any player numbers for them with the partnership.

  • CARV launches .Play name service

This one is quite interesting, they have launched the .play ID and have started their data to earn campaign. Check out my thread for more information!

  • Citizen Conflict tournament starts Dec 18

$10,000 $QORPO tournament. There’s definitely some hype around this one, the length is a week. Sign up with a team of 1-10 players and climb the leaderboard.

  • Immutable zkEVM is gas free for gamers

This is definitely cool to see and will hopefully continue to reduce friction and make playing Web3 games a lot less daunting. Not having to deal with gas fees is a plus. Immutable is covering for the first phase and gaming studios will have to cover the fees afterwards, although not strictly enforced.

  • HAVOC TCG launches trailer

I’ve had the pleasure of playing HAVOC and it is super fun. Definitely excited to see them continue to push out content. Let me know if you’re interested in trying, I will get you in touch.

  • Legends of Venari sign up

This one is interesting, they had a lot of hype in the previous bull run. They have been building quite silently during the bear and it looks like they will have something to show for it. Sign up for early access, super simple.
